HAM is Banned from KBS for being Too Sexy.

Koreans could only wish they were this sexy.
Even though Urbanstereo and I were the original HAMsters, we didn’t report that HAM lost its member. Maybe it’s because she realized that people were anti-HAM? But she will be missed. In any case, it has been reported that the now trio’s new song, “So Sexy”, has been banned. Both the performance and the song are not allowed on KBS’s airwaves on television and radio. According to the sauces, the lyrics and the dances were considered too suggestive and promiscuous.
There’s a focus on the girls’ upper bodies throughout the choreography while some lines in the song belt out “let me have you” and “come and enter me”, apparently. For all you know, they could be talking about opening a door and having them over for some turkey sandwiches. The entertainment company, however, continued by explaining that the song had actually passed MBC’s more liberal judging. Unfortunately, SBS’s final decision wasn’t out yet (as of October 1st), but the vibes weren’t looking good for HAM.
Then they turned to the netizens – is it too sexy for the masses? Some of them agreed and had the pearls they clutched to prove it while the others say, “It’s no different than other girl groups.” And naturally, we agree with them.
HAM’s representatives went to say they were disappointed because they wanted to break out of their young girl image and properly promote it. Even though the title of their first single, “T.T. Dance”, isn’t as suggestive but it did help us get over our sorrows, some can argue all they want whether or not they had a younger girl image. So they decided to tone down the sexiness to make it more broadcast-friendly.
All we can say, the KBS are once again being dickheads about artist integrity and freedom to flash their tits on stage. We as fans should stand up against this atrocity! We should be able to see our favorite girl groups’ tits whenever we feel like it! (Of course, if they’re legal – not illegal like Jiyeon.)
So, KBS, you can just take a devil ride in the moonlight and touch our magic sticks.

Give it some time, and eventually these networks will change their tune. It’s all about the money in the end, and money does talk. If SNSD pulled off a song and dance routine like that, do you think they’d ditch them? Probably not, since half of Asia would be tuning in for Yoona alone, guaranteeing them monster ratings in the process.

Maybe the muckdemucks at KBS are of the Muslim faith and therefore HAM can’t be on the menu. Obviously plastic skank (snsd) is more palatable to them!
